The Stanford 10® Test (SAT/10) (Grades K-12)
Test Type: Nationally Standardized Achievement Test, multiple choice, fill-in-the-bubble
Purpose: To measure the skills and achievement of students in grades K-12 in Reading, Language Arts, Mathematics and the optional tests of Social Studies, Science, and Sources of Information.
Grades: K-12 (Many grades can test together)
Time: Untimed with flexible guidelines. Approximately 2-5.5 hours over 2-5 days. View/Print a Sample 2-Day Testing Schedule
Scoring: Machine scoring year round (Sample Machine Score Report) or it can be done online on your computer year-round (Quicker Results) Order online tests here.
Norms: 2018 (Spring norms are Jan 15 – July 31, Fall norms are Aug 1 - Jan 15)

What is the Stanford Test?

What is Tested on The Stanford Test?
Fall: August 1 - January 15
Spring: January 15 - July 31
Gr 9 can use Advanced 2 (recommended for Fall) or TASK 1 (recommended for Spring)
Machine Scoring: Scores will be provided via email within 6-8 weeks from the date testing materials are returned to our office.
Group Discounts: Group tests must be ordered by one person 4 to 6 weeks in advance. Results will be shipped to that person to distribute to the group.
One Directions for Adminstration book per test group is automatically sent with your order per test group (Gr 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9-12). If you need additional administration books click here.

Can only be purchased by homeschool or private school. All test materials remain the property of Triangle Assessments and must be returned in good condition. (Practice tests are yours to keep.)

Administrator Requirements:
- Have a four-year college degree (B.S. or B.A.) in any discipline.
- Fulfill one of the following training obligations:
- Current certification as a teacher in any state and experience in administering standardized achievement tests
- Experience as a classroom teacher in a traditional school setting (should include experience administering standardized tests)
